Overtaken

I wonder when I
will be over taken with my need for you
The weight of my fascination forcing me to my knees
in a desperate
desperation
Eyes blinded to all but yours
The longing
finally having driven me to measures unbecoming

When will frustration rule the moment
and find me
at capacity for want
Unfulfilled
and
unwilling to go another day

When will I be found
hands extended
pleading
in a grotesque display of foolish passion
A final
mad attempt to claim you
Grasping at the worn out scraps of favor
you deign to toss my way
and
gathering nary enough to fashion a veil of tattered pride
with which to mask my loneliness

When will my curses fly free
mingled with words of abject adoration
Leaving me to wander in
a blizzard of loss
A brutal winter of self imposed solitude

I wonder when
you will rule my day
When will I be
overtaken?

My Kiss

To the floor, I lower slowly.
My eyes, an unfocused shade of need.
An ache guides my unsteady hand
as I release you to my greed.

Embracing sudden freedom,
you strain toward my caress.
The intoxicating heat of you
quickens need beneath my dress.

Just inches from your pleasure,
you beg me not to tease.
But my lips, they cannot help themselves
on the path to please.

Your flesh so smooth, my breath comes ragged.
Your hardness fills my hand.
My tongue darts out to capture
the silky promise of a man.

Salty words uttered so earnestly.
A  frantic, whispered wish.
I'll give you all your heart desires,
Starting with my kiss.

My Dear Friend

My dear friend,

I received your letters.

Each and every one.

I only wish I'd held them close
ere my time was done.

While my hands, they lay in stillness,
the pages seemingly unread
and my eyes could not caress your words
my heart served me instead.

I felt your friendship keenly.

I've fashioned my reply.

I postmarked it in eternity.

It reads:

My dear friend,
Goodbye.
