Oh yes. I did it. It was me.
I have created this indulgence
and it is grand.
Pretty from every angle.
Rapturous to behold.
I've made it huge.
Possibly bigger than me,
though I doubt it.
This is the only way to create.
The more expansive the better.
Sparkling with happiness.
If my delightfully large
bit of enjoyment
is blocking your view,
you must make yourself larger!
Take up more space.
I will not crumple my design.
I will not crush a dream
or shrink my happiness in play.
It belongs to me and
I have made nothing tame.
It has teeth more likely to devour
than to nip gently.
What fun is fluff and nothingness?
Give me intensity over bland any day.
It may yet strip the dark from the sky,
it shines so brilliantly.
I polished it while whistling abandon.
It speaks simplicity. It is.
It was for my enjoyment, but I will share.
Are you big enough or will you be lunch?

In the Rain
I tipped this aged visage
toward eternity
Broken
Imploring the heavens
Open
in answer to
an old friend
thirsty for redemption
The remedy
rains down timeless
True
Soothes my
tattered reality
Returns to me my dreams
Each healing splash
blends seamlessly with
my tears
as they slide through the furrowed wisdom
I have bought
with my pain
With my soul
Heeding my sorrow
restoring me
so that I may once again
run
unhindered in rain
toward eternity
Broken
Imploring the heavens
Open
in answer to
an old friend
thirsty for redemption
The remedy
rains down timeless
True
Soothes my
tattered reality
Returns to me my dreams
Each healing splash
blends seamlessly with
my tears
as they slide through the furrowed wisdom
I have bought
with my pain
With my soul
Heeding my sorrow
restoring me
so that I may once again
run
unhindered in rain
